Wonderfully thought out lines
wit, insights, clever
served up tripping, faltering
whacked out
what is prose?
can words be spoken gold
not dished out plastic?
A pencil gives better service
then the tongue
cocktail party circuit: no invites
wouldn't go, couldn't go
a conversation in my mind
works much better.

This is brilliant and I so feel the quiet intensity behind it. I know these feelings and I know this inner voice. I couldn't express it better than you do here! Absolutely wonderful, quietly powerful, real.
